NaPodPoMo Day 28 – Radical Gratitude: A Thanksgiving Reflection

Welcome back to the RadicalRx show, where we explore radical strategies for living, learning and thriving in this beautiful, messy world. I'm Ellen K. Martin and today is a special day. It's Thanksgiving. I hope you all had a very joyful day. It's also day 28 of the national podcast post Napod Pomo. I only have two days left, but since I missed a day or two, I will be doing double duty to catch up in the next couple of days because I want to get in all 30 by the end of the month.

I want to take a moment to reflect on Radical Gratitude. It's one of the pillars of the RadicalRx framework. Radical gratitude is about embracing a deep sense of appreciation for for every aspect of our journey. The good, the bad, the ugly, and of course, the beautiful and the joyful. This year, I'm especially grateful for another year with my mom and dad. We shared a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner together and we created some memories that I'll cherish for many years to come.

I also want to express my gratitude for all of the incredible people who have stood by me over the years, especially these past two years since my diagnosis with metastatic breast cancer. I know it hasn't been easy on a lot of the people that have been around me during this time. I'm deeply thankful for all my friends and my family that have stood by me, and for the unwavering support from my team at Course Launcher who always have my back.

And thank you so much. Appreciate it. Navigating health challenges while striving to keep myself and my business above ground is often a challenge, and I couldn't have done it without the love and dedication from all these friends, family and colleagues. Thank you to each and every one of you. Sincerely, I'm thrilled to share that my ongoing cancer scans continue to show clean results indicating that the metastatic breast cancer is basically in remission at this point.

Now they say it can't be cured and I say hold my matcha. On this day of thanks, I'm reminded of the importance of Radical Gratitude, not just for the big moments, but for the small victories and joys that sustain us. I encourage you all to take a moment today to reflect on what you're grateful for and to find joy in the small moments. Radical Gratitude has a way of bringing clarity and peace even in the midst of challenges.

Please share what you're grateful for today. Drop a comment here in Facebook, on the blog, wherever you happen to be viewing this. And again, I want to thank you for being part of my journey for all your love and support and for joining me on this path of radical living, learning and thriving. And until next time, take care and don't forget to breathe.
