Hello Everybody. It's day 14 of Nod Pod Pomo and I want to welcome you to the Radical RX show. So technically I'm doing a post, but I don't really, I'm too tired to do a real post today. So here I am. I don't even know if I'm doing my live stream right, So I think it's working, but I haven't, haven't figured out how to really live stream properly on my Facebook page.

So here I am trying to figure things out and it may work, it may not. And you know what? I don't care because this whole month is just one big experiment for me, really. I committed to doing a post every day. And you may not want to count this as a quote podcast post and probably none of the two to three minute things I did would actually qualify as a whole podcast post.

But it getting me the practice I need for launching my actual podcast and I'll be able to take what I'm doing over these 30 days and I can create some really solid scripts. I am going to do some live interviews which if you saw on the blog, I did interview Dr. Joe Casper yesterday. And it was, that was my post for the yesterday. So that one probably will make it to an actual podcast post that goes out on all the networks.

But for today, here I am just kind of hanging out and don't know if I don't know how to see everybody's comments because I don't know if anybody's even watching. If I was on my phone. I know how all the live stream Facebook stuff works on my phone, but not on my computer. So this is part of my learning process and part of the reason, like I said, I'm doing this 30 day thing because I want to work out all the bugs.

And the only way to do that is practice. And yeah, I could practice without going live. I could practice a whole lot of things, but sometimes you just got to get on and say, okay, I'm going live on Facebook to see how it works. So that's what I'm doing. So Again, today's Day 14 on Monday. I want to remind everybody to go watch the Monday episode. That was a really special episode for me because today, Monday was Veterans Day.

And I, I, I introduced a new program for Radical rx and it's called Pink Ribbon Vets. And the whole, the whole idea behind Pink Ribbon Vets is I want to, I want to give veterans a place where they can come and get support. Yeah, I'm so tired. I can't even remember my thoughts. So I'm, I'm going to quit trying to look at Facebook. That's part of the problem.

I'm over there going, where's, where are the Facebook comments? I think I probably have to set up my iPad so I can see the live comments. But at any rate, I announced on Monday the Pink Ribbon Vets program. And I want to encourage everybody to watch it. It's posted on Facebook and it's over on the blog. And the whole thing is it's for veterans with breast cancer and that's going to be mostly women, but there could be some men who do have breast cancer that are veterans that would want to join.

I'm welcome anybody that wants to join. In fact, active duty military are welcome as well. But the whole idea is for supporting veterans, especially those who are getting their care through the VA because I had to do a lot of work to figure out how to navigate the va. So I want to help pass on what I learned to other veterans. So it's open to active duty if they want to join because there's a lot of other support things that I'm going to be doing.

But also veterans especially have a place in my heart as a fellow veteran and eventually it may morph into a whole nonprofit. I'm just right now setting it up as a program within RadicalRx and it won't cost anything for the veterans to join. There's going to be a lot, a lot of free stuff. If they want to get involved in other stuff within the RadicalRx community, they'll have access to the basic areas as well.

But there are some limits. But I want to make as much information about navigating the VA and all those kinds of things that might be unique to veterans. I want to make that available in the free areas. So if you know any veterans, please send them over to RadicalRx Live. And actually RadicalRx Live Pink Ribbon Vets and that will take them to an opt in page where they can get on the mailing list so that I can send them a notice as soon as we go live with that area of the community.

And I will put that in the, in the chat because it's easy to forget and it's not a.com domain name. So anyway, I'll put the link pink. It's. What is it? I'm so tired. RadicalRx Live Pink Ribbon Vets. Again, if you know anybody that's a veteran with breast cancer, please ask them to go sign up. There's no I'm not trying to sell them anything. I just want to give them a place to go and a place to kind of a unique place for veterans to come heal that that might be dealing with breast cancer.

So there's that. I'm almost halfway through the month with this now pod pomo thing. And I'll tell you what, one thing I do know is I don't want to do a podcast every day, but I do really enjoy doing all the research and sharing with everybody. And I think I enjoy it better when I don't have a script. But you also get to hear me kind of rambling on when I don't have a script, because that's just the way I am.

My brain's all over the place and squirrel and then I have to find my way back. So, yeah, that's, this is just me rambling and rambling on. But I'm. I'm eventually going to get a co host so that I have somebody to kind of interact with instead of just sitting and reading a script. So if I want to talk about some radical RX topic, I can bounce ideas and thoughts off the co host and let them ask me questions instead of just reading a script.

So I'll have my notes that I want to cover. But that's, that's. I think the way I'm going, that's what I'm learning from my 30 days so far. Day 14 is I'm really learning that I do better when I've got somebody on the other end that I'm actually interacting with instead of just me talking to the camera and hoping somebody's listening. Because right now I don't know if anybody's listening.

Like I said, I probably could set up my iPhone or. Well, my iPhone is up here because I'm using it as my camera, so I can't use it. But I have an iPad, so I could set up my iPad and I could look at all the Facebook Live feed on my iPad and see if people are commenting. I don't know if there's another way to do it right here in the web browser, but I'm sure if somebody knows, they're going to tell me because I got a lot of techie friends that do this stuff all the time.

So feel free to reach out and tell me if you know how to look at the live chat while you're live streaming on a desktop browser or a laptop browser. All right, so anyway, it's already after 10 o'clock. I've had a long day. I haven't been Sleeping. Well, part of it is I got on this weird schedule and now I'm trying to get myself back to going to bed earlier.

And part of it is I've been having a lot of sleepless nights, partly from the coughing and stuff, but also like my brain won't shut off. And so I've been creating this really cool. I've been talking to chat GPT and creating these really cool graphics and all kinds of fun stuff. And so the bad part about that is that once I start doing it, my brain's like, woo, let's do more.

So sleep is elusive right now. So anyway, I am planning on going to bed early tonight, which for me anything before like 10:30 or 11 or even before midnight at this point is considered a little early. So I'm going to do a little bit of radical self care and I'm going to put myself to bed now. But I did want to get something out because I said I would do it every day.

So here I am. And if you have any questions, post them in the chat and I'll start answering your questions on the new the upcoming episodes. If you want to hop on a call with me like Joe did yesterday, hop on a call and we'll, we'll have a chat and then post that. So I want to make it fun, I want to make it interesting and let's just have some fun.

Okay? So my purpose in life, I decided, is to bring joy, hope and joy. I want to bring hope and joy especially to women with breast cancer and even more so to women like me who have metastatic breast cancer and want to continue to thrive and feel the joy of living Eve each and every day to the fullest. So thank you for being me here with me today.

And gotta say it, don't forget to breathe. Now I have to figure out how to turn off the live stream.
