NaPodPoMo Day 15 – Honoring Faith Levine – Radical Courage and Tenacity

Welcome to the RadicalRx Show. I’m Ellen K. Martin, and today I want to take a moment to honor and remember my friend and fellow Kiwanian– Faith Levine.

Faith embodied Radical Courage and unyielding tenacity, facing every challenge with strength and grace. Her life was a testament to the power of resilience, love, and service. Join me in celebrating her incredible life.

Faith Levine was a remarkable woman with a beautiful spirit,

dedicated to her community, to her beloved Kiwanis clubs, and to supporting young leaders through 4-H. From her countless hours of community service to her role as Governor of the Ohio District of Kiwanis, Faith’s impact was felt far and wide.

Faith didn’t just lead—she served tirelessly.  She was the epitome of a Servant Leader. She spent countless hours traveling to the far corners of Ohio, working alongside Kiwanians and celebrating their achievements.

Her dedication also extended to young leaders, supporting 4-H clubs and encouraging the next generation of service-minded individuals. Her life was a beacon of encouragement and strength for so many.

Faith faced a hereditary health condition that progressively limited her mobility, but she never allowed it to hinder her spirit or her involvement in the activities she loved. Even as her condition progressed, she took to the golf course, cane in hand, determined to enjoy the game. Her putting skills were legendary, making her a formidable teammate in every scramble.

Faith's indomitable spirit shone through in her adventurous heart. After the Kiwanis International Convention in Denver, Colorado, this past July, Faith embarked on an epic solo road trip. Despite her mobility challenges, she was determined to see new sights and explore places she had never been. Her journey was a testament to her courage and love for life, showing us all what it means to truly live fully.

Even as she was admitted to hospice, Faith remained steadfast in her desire to spread joy. She requested that her friends and family come to visit her, not in sorrow, but with joy. She wanted her final days to be filled with laughter and the company of loved ones– a true reflection of the incredible woman she was.

Faith's journey came to a close not due to her long-standing hereditary condition, but from a battle with cancer that she faced with the same grace and resilience that defined her life. Until the very end, Faith squeezed every drop out of life, inspiring us all to do the same. Today, as we remember Faith Levine, let us celebrate a life lived with courage, love, and an unwavering commitment to making the world a better place.

That's it for today's episode. Thank you for joining me in remembering the incredible life of Faith Levine.

Take care, and I'll catch you in the next episode.
